This week is getting ready for Christmas at our house this week. No formal school, just Christmas crafts, reading the Christmas story in the Bible, watching Christmas movies, and doing fun Christmas things along with getting Christmas cards and gifts finalized.
We have plans to do a field trip this week to our local Children’s Museum to have some Christmas fun there. There will be snowball fights, Christmas cooking, Christmas crafts, slides, pretend reindeer to groom and ride, and Santa will be there for a photo opportunity and to finalize his list!
Here are some of the fun Christmas crafts that we are using:
Old Fashioned Deck the Halls
Christmas Fun Book
Christmas Mega Book from Simple Schooling
Christmas Word Search for Kids
The Story of Christmas Coloring Book
Making “Stained Glass” Holiday Stars
Usborne Christmas Cards to Color
Usborne Christmas Advent Calendar to Color
We are also playing Christmas music and hoping to watch some Christmas classics in the evening for our family movie time.
What are you doing for Christmas this week?

Excellent read. I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. He just bought me lunch since I found it for him!
