I found this great recipe over at [Natural] Mommie yesterday and I made them immediately. It only took about 10 minutes to throw together and then they hit the fridge.
We are always looking for good, all-natural snacks and, I have to say, they are a BIG HIT! They look a little crazy but don’t let their looks fool you. Yum is the word! Can’t wait to play with the recipe and make some with raisins and other dried fruits.
We added flax seed and used pecans and chocolate chips in ours. We also used natural peanut butter. The kids love them!
HINT: After you stir up the ingredients you can spray non-stick on your hands and then pinch off some mixture and roll into a ball shapes in your hand. It is really quick and less clean up because it doesn’t stick to your hands.
Check out the recipe over at [Natural] Mommie and stayed tuned for my attempts to find more fun homemade granola snacks.
