Do you have the kids draw pictures or write compositions about what they liked most in their reading?

Excellent question. We narrate back almost all books to test for comprehension. We typically choose one book at a time to expand our studies with with lapbooking or notebooking. Then my dd journals her bible lessons in a Bible journal drawing a picture of her favorite part of the story then writing 2-3 sentences that go along with it. sometimes they draw and color a picture while I’m.reading a read a loud. Great question. Thanks
