Welcome to Tuesday’s Dish and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
In case you’re looking for a last minute Christmas treat to make, I thought these were too cute and a yummy treat. Thanks to Once a Month Mom for the recipe. Let me know if you like them!!
Ingredients:
- 16 large marshmallows
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp green food coloring
- 2 1/4 cups cornflakes cereal
Directions:
In a saucepan over medium low heat, combine marshmallows and butter until melted. Stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and add vanilla and green food coloring. Stirring until all the food coloring is mixed into the marshmallows. Add cornflakes a cup at a time, stirring until all cornflakes are coated with the green marshmallow mixture. Drop by large teaspoon full mounds onto wax paper, topping with 2 cinnamon imperials on top. Pressing down slightly so they stick. (You will need to do this before the cookie part starts to harden, to ensure the cinnamon imperials stick). Let stand for one hour.

The Holly treats look delicious. I’ll have to try those next Christmas. I need some warm soups and lots of vegetables. I think I feel a Russian Chicken soup coming on.
Happy New Year to you and your family!
