We discovered coconut oil this past year and boy are we happy we did! We have fallen in love with the benefits of coconut oil and so will your baby. We have found many uses for coconut oil in our home, from cooking to makeup remover to relief from dry ski. Here are 3 reasons that your baby will love coconut oil and its benefits too!
CRADLE CAP – Coconut oil can do wonders for cradle cap. Though that pesky, dry scalp certainly won’t be harmful to your precious baby, coconut oil is a natural way to treat cradle cap. We used it with success.for our baby’s cradle cap. The was not bothered by the cradle cap or the coconut oil treatment but, when it got bad, one treatment cleared it up. It did come back alter but it wasn’t as bad.
DIAPER RASH – If you are looking for a natural way to treat diaper rash, try coconut oil. It’s natural, anti-fungal effects soothe and clear up diaper rash quickly and without chemicals or harsh additives. The natural oil gives a smooth, soothing barrier and, since its natural, you don’t feel badly about reapplying. And its safe for cloth diapers!
DRY SKIN – Especially in the winter, dry skin can be an issue for everyone. Coconut oil can provide natural relief to your baby (and you). I use coconut oil in my oatmeal. It is supposed to lower cholesterol. We grandmas have to keep in shape for our little grand kids. I’m sure going to try coconut oil on little Sammy’s diaper rash. He is only one month old so we don’t have cradle cap yet, but when we do, I will sure try it. Thanks for the idea.
