“Double Digits – woohoo!” was the first thing my daughter said to me yesterday morning. That is after a 3 day countdown to “my birthday, my birthday, my birthday.”
Now we are in countdown mode to the birthday party – a Frozen Ice Skating Party (fairly predictable but refreshingly cute and still Disney which is nice since we have reached that ‘tween stage.)
I can’t believe she is 10. She has turned into a beautiful, intelligent, young lady with a world of interests and a sense of style. A gift for giving and a love for entertaining. Life is never boring with our spunky, crazy little girl who really isn’t so little anymore.
I look forward to seeing her growth and excitement for life as she continues to learn and become her own person each day. I’m one lucky lady to be her mom!
