HomeSchool Office has a lot of features. When I first logged in, I must admit, I was a little overwhelmed with all the choices. And the setup was a little time consuming, but once I had everything figured out and setup, it was pretty easy to use. Though I did not use the program to its full extent, I think it would be an excellent program for many homeschool families. The calendar feature was a nice addition, and, though I did not use the transcript, it would be something I can see be a wonderful help as my kids get into middle and high school. You can use it to plan your day, your year, and your school. You can set goals and track your progress. There options seems limitless once you get in and play with it.
We live in a state that has a lot of homeschooling freedoms and requires not records to be turned in. Therefore, there were many features of Lord Heritage’s HomeSchool Office that we did not need to use. Some of the features were just things that do not fit with our homeschooling style; however, I can see they would be very valuable to many homeschooling families.
Though we have lots of freedoms in our state, we do track our attendance. HomeSchool Office allows you to track and run reports on attendance, which comes in handy. And if you live in a state that requires grades, HomeSchool Office makes it easy to enter grades and run a report.
Lord Heritage’s HomeSchool Office costs $79 per year, but that is for an entire family and offers free updates and as much support as necessary! The customer service is quick to respond.
