When getting ready for Christmas, we typically focus on the real reason for the season - the birth of Jesus! We have special traditions that we use to celebrate the birth of Christ and celebrate the holiday with special Advent celebrations. Do you need a great Science curriculum?

This year we are using Simple Schooling's new One Year Nature Study. It is an interactive nature study on the Simple Schooling website. My daughter has really been enjoying it. Classical Conversations – An Emphasis on Public Speaking

One of the reasons that we chose Classical Conversations was its emphasis on public speaking. When we started homeschooling our oldest daughter had just experienced her first bout with stage fright.
