Today I read a great article entitled 3 Reasons To Read Aloud to Your Independent Reader at About One.com. It was an excellent article and pointed out some reasons that our family believes in reading aloud.
We thoroughly enjoy our read aloud time. Cuddling in our big chair or up in bed, reading and talking about our Sonlight books or library books. I do not see it stopping anytime soon and definitely hope that it doesn’t.
Right now we are reading Five True Dog Stories by Margaret Davidson. Next up is the fifth book in the American Girl Felicity series.
