I always love a recipe that I don’t need to bake. I tried these over the holiday weekend and they are great. My daughter loved making them herself and, since they were no bake, I didn’t have to worry. I just did a little helping with the stove preparations.
Thanks to Barb’s Writings and Recipe’s for another great recipe.
Here’s what you need:
Ingredients:
• 2 Cups sugar
• 3 Tablespoons Cocoa
• 1 Stick butter
• 1/2 Cup milk
• 2 1/2 Cup instant oatmeal
• 1/2 Cup peanut butter
• 1 Teaspoon Vanilla
Directions:
In a medium saucepan combine sugar, cocoa, butter, and milk. Bring to a boil and stir for about two minutes. Remove from stove and add oats, vanilla, and peanut butter. Beat until blended and starts to thicken.
Drop mixture onto wax paper by the teaspoonful and allow to cool. Yummy cookies!

My middle daughter is very interested in getting started in the kitchen (she’s 6). This is a perfect recipe for her to handle with very little assistance.
Thanks!
